Man arrested - Clondalkin Fire on the 16th July 2013

Gardaí investigating a fire at Thornfield Square, Clondalkin, Dublin 22 on the 9th of July have arrested a man in his late 20s.

The 27 year old man was arrested this morning, the 16th July and is detained at Clondalkin Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.  He can be detained for up to 24 hours. 
 

The fire at an apartment complex was reported to Gardaí at 5.40 am and Gardaí from Clondalkin Garda Station assisted in evacuating the building.  There were no serious injuries sustained.  However, a number of people were treated for smoke inhalation.
