Gardaí at Tralee are investigating a fatal road traffic collision which occurred on the Abbeydorney to Tralee Road (approximately 2 miles from Tralee) The collision occurred at 6.20pm this evening (14/7/13)
A male motorcyclist in his 20’s was fatally injured when his bike was in collision with a car. The female driver of the car (only occupant) was uninjured.
The deceased has been removed to Kerry General Hospital where a full post mortem examination will take place tomorrow.
The road is currently closed to facilitate an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and diversions are in place.
