Gardaí from Bruff are at the scene of a fatal two car road traffic collision which occured at Patrickswell, Lough Gur, Co. Limerick at approximately 1.15pm this afternoon 22nd July 2013.
A male child (4yrs) was serioursly injured in the collision and was pronounced dead at the scene. The drivers and other passengers of both cars sustained minor injuries. There was one female driver and three children in the 1st car and one male driver, a female adult passenger and three children in the 2nd car(one of which died).
The road is closed for a Forensic Collision Examination. Diversons are in place.
