Gardaí at Mallow are investigating a single vehicle, fatal road traffic collision which occurred at Boolard, Dromina, Charleville, County Cork, on Monday the 15th July 2013 at approximately 9.30pm.
A male, 47 years, was fatally injured when the vehicle he was driving collided with a roadside ditch. There was one passenger in the vehicle, also male, 39 years, who was uninjured.
The deceased has been removed to Cork University Hospital where a full post mortem will take place, this morning, 16th July 2013.
The road is currently closed to facilitate an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and Diversions are in place.
