At approximately 9.50pm on the 30th May 2013 Gardaí responded to a 999 call regarding a shooting incident at St Dominic's Shopping Centre off Mountain Park Road in Tallaght, Dublin 24.
On arrival Gardaí discovered a 45 year old male, Carl Wynne of Russell Court, Russell Square, Tallaght, suffering from gunshot wounds. He was subsequently removed to Tallaght Hospital. Carl Wynne died from his injuries at Tallaght Hospital this morning 19th July 2013. A post mortem examination will be carried out by the State Pathologist to establish the exact cause of death.
Gardaí in Tallaght are renewing their appeal for anyone who may have witnessed this shooting at St Dominic's Shopping Centre, on the 30th May or who may have seen any suspicious or unusual activity in the vicinity of Mountain Park Road to contact them.
Gardaí are also appealing for witness who may have seen a black motorcycle with a driver and pillion passenger wearing dark clothing in the area at the time.
