The male arrested at Cloghran Co Dublin on Wednesday afternoon 3rd July, 2013 as part of the investigations into dissident republican activity in the Dublin area will appear before a special sitting of the Special Criminal Court at the CCJ this evening at 6p.m. 5th July, 2013.

As part of ongoing investigations into Dissident republican activity in the Dublin area members of An Garda Síochána attached to the Special Detective Unit and Crime & Security Section searched a number of containers in a yard at Cloghran Co Dublin at approximately 4pm yesterday afternoon (3/7/13).
During the course of this search a quantity of ammunition and component parts of explosive substances were discovered. A 46 year old man was arrested at the scene and is currently detained at Ballymun Garda Station under the provisions of Section 30 Offences against the State Act 1939.
Investigations are continuing.
