Update - One male arrested in connection with dissident republican activity 4th Jan 2013

The male who was arrested on the 4/01/13 and detained at Ballymun Garda Station has been released without charge this evening.

A file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Gardai attached to the Special Detective Unit at Harcourt Sq, Dublin 2 investigating dissident republican activity(please see previous press releases below) have arrested a male (23yrs) this evening in Dublin. He is being detained under the provisions of section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act 1939 as amended at Ballymun Garda station.
