Gardai in Ashbourne are investigating a fatal road traffic collision on the M2 Ashbourne on the 4th January 2013 between a motor cyclist and a vehicle.
The collision occurred at approximately 7.30pm on the M2 northbound between the St Margarets and the Ashbourne/Ratoath exits. A motorcyclist was fatally injured in the collision. No one else was injured.
The motorway is closed in both directions for a Forensic collision examination and diversions are in place.
