Gardaí at Macroom, Co Cork are investigating a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision which occurred in the village of Donoughmore, Co Cork at 1am this morning 28th January 2013.
A 27 year old female occupant of the car was taken to Cork University Hospital where she was pronounced dead a short time later. The only other occupant a 29 year male was injured (injuries not life threatening)
The scene of the collision is currently closed to facilitate an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
