Drugs Seizure and arrest in Tallaght, Dublin on the 15/1/13

As part of a planned search Gardaí from the Tallaght Drugs Unit carried out a search of an apartment in Tallaght yesterday afternoon (15/1/13).

During the course of this search Heroin with an estimated street value of €100,000 (pending analysis) was discovered.  Drug paraphernalia was also recovered. 
 

A 29 year old man was arrested at the scene as was detained at Tallaght Garda Station under Section 2 Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.  He subsequently appeared before Tallaght District Court charged in connection with this incident this morning (16/1/13) 
 

Investigations are continuing.
