Searches and arrests in Dundalk, Louth on the 21/2/13

Gardai have arrested two men and searched six locations in the Dundalk, Co. Louth today the 21st February 2013.

In an operation carried out in the early hours of this morning Gardaí, targeting criminal and subversive activity in the Dundalk area, conducted searches at various properties in the Dundalk area.


As part of the operation two men, one in his 30's and one in his 70's, have been arrested.  The men are detained under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act 1939 at Drogheda Garda station


The operation is not directly related to the investigation into the murder of Detective Garda Adrian Donohoe.
