Firearms recovered and arrest in Darndale, Dublin on the 7/2/13

Gardai in Coolock investigating organised crime in the North Dublin area of the city, have arrested a man in his mid 20s yesterday evening 7th February 2013.

As part of a planned operation, Gardai from Coolock Drugs Unit, assisted by member from the DMR Northern Region, searched a house at Tulip Court, Darndale at approximately 5.15pm yesterday. Three firearms and a small amount of cannabis was seized by Gardaí.


The man is currently detained at Coolock Garda Station under the provisions of Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act 1939.
