Gardai are appealing for witnesses following a two car collision in Thurles, Co Tipperary, on the 15th February 2013.
At approximately 2240 hours a 22-year-old man was seriously injured when the car he was driving collided with a second car on the N75 at Rathmanna, Thurles. He was taken by ambulance to South Tipperary General Hospital with serious injuries and later transferred to Cork University Hospital where he was pronounced dead late last night (16/2/2013). The driver of the second car (also aged 22 years) was taken to Hospital with minor injures and later discharged.
Forensic collisions investigators carried out a full technical examination at the scene and Gardai in Thurles are appealing for witnesses to contact them.
