Fatal Road Traffic Collision on the N63, Galway on the 14/2/13

Gardaí in Ballinasloe are investigating a Fatal Road Traffic Collision which occurred on the main Roscommon to Galway Road (N63) at Ballygar at approximately 5.45pm this evening (14/2/13)

A 61 year old male cyclist died as a result of injuries sustained when he was in collision with a car. No other person was injured in this incident.
 

The road is currently closed to facilitate an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
