Drug seizure and arrests in Dublin on the 27/2/13

Gardaí have seized a quantity of drugs and arrested two people.

The Garda National Drugs Unit this afternoon, 27th February 2013, stopped and searched a motor car on the M50 near Finglas.  The vehicle was searched and a quantity of herbal cannabis with an estimated street value of €300,000 was seized. 
 

 Two males were arrested at the scene under the provisions of the Misuse of Drugs Act.  One is aged 32 years, and the other a juvenile.

Both are currently detained at Finglas Garda station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996
