Two men have been arrested as part of an ongoing Garda operation targeting Burglary.
The men (aged in their 20's & 30's) were arrested at approximately 4am this morning (14/2/2013) by Gardai from Leixlip, Celbridge and Maynooth responding to an intruder alarm at a Public House in Beaufield near Maynooth. The men who were wearing balaclavas and armed with crowbars were arrested at the scene.
They are currently detained at Lexlip Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
Gardaí in Ballinasloe are investigating a Fatal Road Traffic Collision which occurred on the main Roscommon to Galway Road (N63) at Ballygar at approximately 5.45pm this evening (14/2/13)
The investigation is ongoing.
