Gardaí investigating the murder of Alan Ryan on the 3rd September 2012 have arrested a male in his 20's.
He was arrested in the Dublin area this morning (13th February 2013) and is currently detained under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act, 2007, at Coolock Garda Station.

Gardai are investigating a shooting incident at Grange Lodge Ave,Clongriffin, Coolock which occurred shortly after 3.30 pm.on the 3rd of September 2012. Two men aged in their 30s suffered gunshot wounds in the incident. One man was taken to Beaumont Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. The second man was also taken to Beaumont hospital where he is being treated for his injuries.
A burnt out car was discovered a short time later on Hole in the Wall Road. Both scenes are scealed off pending a forensic technical examination.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses or anyone who was in either the area of Grange Lodge or Hole in the Wall Road to contact the incident room at Coolock Garda Station on 01 666 4200.
