Gardai in Mountjoy Garda Station are investigating a two vehicle fatal road traffic collision that occurred at approximately 1.50pm today on Ballybough Road, Dublin.
A 19 year old male was seriously injured when his motorcycle collided with a parked car. He was taken to the Mater Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. The two occupants of the parked car were uninjured and did not require Hospital treatment.
This stretch of road is currently closed to facilitate an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and local diversions are in place. It is expected to reopen in the next couple of hours.
