Gardai targeting the sale and supply of controlled drugs in the north city centre have seized drugs and arrested a male.
As part of a planned operation Gardai from Mountjoy Garda station searched a house in Summerhill, Dublin at approximately 8.30a.m. this morning Saturday 21st December, 2013.
During the search a quantity of prescribed tablets were seized, with an estimated street value of €75,000 (pending analysis) along with a quantity of cash and other drugs.
A male aged 25 years was arrested at the scene and is currently detained at Mountjoy Garda Station under the provisions of Section 4, Criminal Justice Act 1984.
