Gardai have arrested a man in his early 20's following a robbery of an off licence shop on St. James Road, Greenhills late last night, Wednesday, the 4th December 2013.
At approximately 9.30pm a lone male entered the Off Licence shop on St. James Road, Greenhills and demanded cash. He was armed with what was described as a hammer. He left the scene with an amount of cash and no persons were injured in the incident. Gardai attended the scene and a follow up search resulted in the arrest of a man in his 20's.
The man is currently detained at Sundrive Road Garda Station under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
