Robbery at supermarket and Arrest at Malahide Road, Dublin 17 on the 29/8/13

Gardaí at Coolock are investigating a robbery which occurred at a supermarket on the Malahide Road at approximately 8pm last night (29/8/13).

A 28 year old lone male raider entered the supermarket, he threatened staff and demanded cash.  A security officer at the shop tackled the raider and Gardaí were called. The 28 year old man was arrested at the scene and taken to Coolock Garda Station.


This man is expected to appear before the Courts of Criminal Justice this morning (30/8/13) charged in connection with this incident.
