Fatal road traffic collision at Carrickboy, Cavan on the 26/8/13

Gardaí at Cavan Garda station are investigating a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision which occurred at Carrickaboy between Cavan and Kilnaleck about 5.45am 26th August 2013.

One man in his mid 20's was fatally injured. Another man and 2 women, all in their late teens or early 20s, who were also in the car, were taken to Cavan General Hospital with non life threatening injuries.

Scene is preserved for forensic technical examination. Gardaí are asking for witnesses to contact Cavan Garda Station on 049-4368800.
