Gardaí at Blessington are investigating a fatal road traffic collision which occurred at Crosscool Harbour (N81), Blessington, Co Wicklow at approximately 6.35pm yesterday evening (28/8/13)
A car and a motorcycle were in collision at the above location. A 28 year old male motorcyclist was seriously injured and was removed to Naas General Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. No other person was injured.
The road was closed to facilitate an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and has since reopened.
