Gardai at Swords are appealing to the public for information following the discovery of a body of a male at Balheary, Swords, Co. Dublin, on the 2nd April 2013.
The deceased has been named as 22-year-old Deniss Timosejevs (originally from Latvia) with an address at Applewood Village, Swords.
The body of the deceased was removed to St Columcille’s Hospital, Loughlinstown, where a post-mortem examination was carried out by the Deputy State Pathologist Dr Jabbar. The results of which have not been released for operational reasons.
Deniss Timosejevs was last seen walking in the Thornleigh area of Applewood Village in on the evening of Monday 1st April 2013. When last seen he was wearing a distinctive orange and black coloured bomber-style jacket and a football scarf. He was described as approximately 5’ in height and of slight build. Gardai are in particular appealing to anyone who may have observed a male fitting this description in the Swords and Balheary areas between Monday evening (1/4/2013) and Tuesday afternoon (2/4/2013) to contact the incident room at Swords Garda Station.
Investigating Gardai are also trying to locate a number of personal items missing from the deceased including a Latvian Driving licence and bank card bearing his name and a mobile phone.

Gardai are investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a body of a male in Swords, Co. Dublin.
The discovery was made at a field in Balheary near Swords shortly before 3pm this afternoon (2/4/2013). The body of the male, who is believed to be aged in his early 20s, remains at the scene which is preserved for a full technical and forensic examination. The State pathologist has been notified and preliminary enquiries are ongoing.
