Gardaí in Ronanstown are investigating a shooting which occurred at Rowlagh Park, Clondalkin at approximately 18.40hrs this evening 13th April, 2013.
A man in his early 50s was shot at a house in Rowlagh Park and removed by ambulance to Tallaght Hospital, where he is believed to be a critical condition.
A scene has been sealed off pending a full technical examination.
Gardaí are appealing for anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the shooting or who may have seen a dark coloured car leave the scene in the direction of Neilstown Road, to contact them at Ronanstown Garda Station 01 666 7700, the Garda Confidential Line 1800-666-111 or any Garda Station.
