Search operation in Co. Sligo on the 3/4/13

As part of an ongoing investigation into organised criminal activity Gardai from Sligo assisted by Regional Units carried out a search operation in the Forthill area of Sligo Town on Wednesday 3rd April, 2013.

During the searches Gardai seized a sawn off shotgun, an imitation firearm, and drugs with an estimated street value of €50,000 (pending analysis).


There was no arrests during today’s operation and enquires are ongoing.
