Drugs seizure, firearm recovered and arrest in Mahon, Cork on the 3/4/13

As part of an ongoing investigation Gardaí carried out a search of a house in Mahon, Cork last night (3/4/13).

During the course of the search cannabis herb with an estimated street value of €30,000 (subject to analysis) was seized. A firearm was also recovered during the search. 
 

A 26 year old female was arrested at the scene and is currently detained at the Bridewell Garda Station (Cork) under Section 2 Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
