Drug Seizure in Co.Kerry on the 18/4/2013

Gardai investigating the cultivation of cannabis in the Kerry area have seized cannabis plants with an estimated street value of up to €160,000.

Gardai from the Kanturk Drug Unit carried out a planned search of a house near Rathmore, Co. Kerry last night (18.04.13).

 

During the search approximately 200 cannabis plants at various stages of growth with an estimated street value of up to €160,000 (pending analysis) were discovered. The scene has been sealed off for a technical examination.

 

There were no arrested and the investigation is ongoing.
