Drug seizure and arrest in Darndale, Dublin on the 12/4/13

Gardai have arrested a male and seized large quantity of ecstasy (pending analysis) following an operation in Darndale on the 12th April 2013.

At approx 12.30 p.m. Gardai attached to the Coolock Drugs Unit searched a car in the Darndale area.  During the search they recovered ecstasy tables with an estimated street value of €400,000 (pending analysis).  A male aged in his 30's was arrested and is currently detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
