Gardai investigating the fatal shooting of Darren Cogan in Inchicore on the 25th of June 2011 have arrested three males.
One male was arrested this morning and two males were arrested yesterday morning, all in the Dublin area. They range in ages from their mid 20’s to mid 30’s and are being detained at Kilmainham and Kevin Street Garda Stations under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act 2007.

Gardaí at Kevin Street are investigating a fatal shooting at a Public House in Inchicore Dublin 8. The incident took place at approximately 00.15am this morning (25/6/11) in the Public house on Tyrconnell Road, Inchicore.
A lone gunman entered the bar and fired a number of shots fatally injuring a 22 year old man and injuring 21 year old man ( Injuries not thought to be life threatening) The gunman then left the scene and walked across Tyrconnell Road, he fired a number of shots back in the direction of the Public House (no injuries) At this stage it is unknown where the gunman then went.
In a separate incident at the same location, a red car (not better described) drove into the car park at approximately 11.09pm (24/6/11) of the above Public House; two armed men exited the car and entered the bar. They appeared to be looking for a number of individuals, they then left the premises and drove away in the direction of Bluebell. No shots were fired during this incident.
The area is sealed off pending a Garda forensic technical examination
