Gardai have arrested two males following a shooting incident at Bunratty Co. Clare on the 2nd September 2012.
The men, who are aged in their 20s, were arrested this morning in Cork city. They are currently detained at Mayfield and Gurranabraher Garda Stations under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act, 2007.

Gardai have launched a murder investigation following the death of the male in his 20’s this afternoon after the shooting incident on the 2nd of September 2012.
The two males remain in custody.
Gardai wish to renew their appeal for information and in particular to anyone who was in the vicinity of the Bunratty Castle Hotel between 3am and 4am on the 2nd of September to contact them at Shannon Garda Station 061- 365900, or the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111.

Gardai are investigating the circumstances a shooting incident which occurred at Bunratty, Co Clare, on the 2nd of September 2012.
Shortly before 4am a man, aged in his early 20s, was approached by two males a shot a number of times during an incident at a hotel car park. He was taken by ambulance to the Mid-western Regional Hospital Limerick where his condition is described as critical. The men fled the scene in a waiting black coloured motor-car.
A firearm was recovered by investigating gardai near to the scene which is preserved pending a full technical and forensic examination.
An incident room has been set up at Garda Shannon Garda Station.
No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
