Gardai received a call on Thursday the 20.09.12 via the emergency services number relating to a male being tied up in a house with a brown gate.
Gardai acted on this information and a member responded to the call and went to the house as described. They satisfied themselves that there was nothing untoward.
This phone call is forming part of the Garda investigation into the death of Eugene Gillespie and gardai are liaising with phone companies in efforts to identify the identity of the caller.
