A man will appear before Loughrea District Court this morning 20/9/2012 in relation to a drugs seizure in Co. Roscommon on 18/9/2012.
A male in his 30's arrested as part of the operation on Tuesday 18th September, 2012 is expected to appear before Loughrea District Court at 10.30a.m. this morning 20th September, 2012.

As part of an intelligence led operation Gardaí from the Roscommon Divisional Drug Unit and the local Detective Unit seized cannabis plants with an estimated street value of approximately €300,000 (subject to analysis).
Gardaí searched a shed at Athleague, Co Roscommon at 3.30pm yesterday (18/9/12) During the course of this search an elaborate cannabis growing operation was uncovered. 380 cannabis plants were seized during this operation.
A male in his 30’s was arrested at the scene and is currently detained at Roscommon Garda Station under Section 2 Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
Investigations are continuing.
