Flood warnings in and around Dublin - 17/10/12

Reports of severe flooding in the following areas:

Longmile Road, Pembroke Road, Northumberland Road, Blessington Road in Tallaght, Jobstown, Fosters Avenue, Chapelizod Road outbound at Palmerstown and Walkinstown Road Roundabout.

 
The Strawberry beds are closed from Larachon to Tinkers Hill.

 
Slieve Bloom Park, Drimnagh is impassable

 
Longmile Road at Junction of N7 is completely flooded.

 
M1 at Lusk, south of Junction 5 northbound there are cars stuck in the flooding.

 
Gardai are urging all road user to exercise extreme caution, drive with lights on and leave for your destination in plenty of time.
