Gardai in Glanmire are investigating a two vehicle fatal road traffic collision that occurred at Upper Glanmire at approximately 1.30pm today.
A male in his 40’s was fatally injured when his motorcycle collided with a car. He was taken to the Mercy University Hospital in Cork where he was pronounced dead. The occupants of the car were uninjured.
This stretch of road is currently closed pending the completion of an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and local diversions are in place.
