Gardai in Kanturk investigating a burglary on a house in Kanturk on the 14th/15th October 2012 in which a substantial amount of cash was taken have arrested three suspects.
The three suspects (2 males 26 & 29 yrs and 1 female 27 yrs) were arrested on Monday, the 15th October 2012 in the Mayfield area of Cork, a substantial amount of cash was also recovered. They were detained under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 as amended at Mayfield and Gurranabraher Garda stations.
On the 17th October the two males above were charged in connection with the burglary and have appeared at Cork District Court this evening the 17th, they have been remanded to appear before Mallow District Court at 10.30am on the 23rd October 2012.
The female was released without charge, investigations are ongoing.
