The nine people arrested during this morning’s search and arrest operation are expected to appear before a sitting of Virginia District Court, tomorrow morning (6/11/2012), charged in relation to this investigation.

Gardaí in the Cavan/Monaghan Division investigating the sale and supply of Ecstasy and other controlled drugs have this morning (5/11/12) carried out a search and arrest operation.
During the course of this operation nine (9) people were arrested (3 females and 6 males) all ranging in ages from their mid 20’s to early 40’s.
They are all detained in various Garda Stations throughout the Cavan/Monaghan division under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984. A considerable amount of cash and controlled drugs were seized during this morning’s operation.
