Serious injury road traffic collision in Waterford on the 6/11/12

Gardai in Waterford are appealing for witnesses to a serious injury road traffic collision.

At approximately 1430 hours an 81-year-old male pedestrian was seriously injured when he was struck by a 4x4 vehicle on the Cork Road, Waterford City.


He was taken by Ambulance to Waterford Regional Hospital with serious injuries.


The road is closed to traffic and diversions are in place.  Forensic collision investigators are at the scene.
