Media organisations are invited to send representatives to the above briefing session which will preview logistical arrangements for the 19th meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council, which will take place in Dublin on Thursday 6 & Friday 7 December.
What: Briefing session in advance of OSCE Ministerial Council

Where: OSCE Ministerial Media Centre, RDS Simmonscourt
Information will be provided by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (in regard to the OSCE, the Ministerial Council and onsite arrangements for the media); An Garda Síochána (in regard to security and traffic management plans); and the RDS (in regard to the preparation and build of the venue).
Background
The OSCE Ministerial Council is the largest international meeting organised in Ireland. Delegations from over 70 countries and international organisations will participate. Foreign Ministers from over 40 States are expected to attend. In total over 1,500 hundred delegates, officials, and media will be involved in the event. The Ministerial Meeting is the culmination of Ireland’s year-long Chairmanship of this important international body and comes immediately ahead of our Presidency of the European Union in the first half of 2013.
