Fatal road traffic collision at Drumconrath, Meath on the 28/11/12

Gardai are investigating a fatal road traffic collision, which occurred at Balrath, Drumconrath, Co. Meath yesterday evening, the 28th November 2012.

A 55 year old male cyclist was involved in a collsion with a car at 5pm at Balrath (approx 1km outside Drumconrath).   He was removed to Our Lady's Hospital, Navan where he was later pronounced dead. The sole occupant of the car was uninjured.


The scene was examined by Garda forensic collision ivestigators last evening and has since reopened.
