As part of an ongoing operation Gardai from Carlow and Portlaoise searched a house at Kilminchey, Portlaoise on the evening of the 11th November 2012.
During the course of the search Gardai discovered E tablets, Cannabis herb and Cannabis resin with a total street value of €40,000(pending analysis).
During a follow search of a house in Graiguecullen, Co Carlow Gardai discovered, Speed and Cannabis herb with a street value of €6,000(pending analysis).
A male 30 years was arrested at the second location and is being detained under the provisions of section 2 of the Criminal Justice(Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 as amended at Carlow Garda station.
