Single vehicle fatal road traffic collision at Lagganstown, Tipperary on the 16/5/12

Gardai in Cahir are appealing for witnesses following a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision at Lagganstown Lower , on a side road off the New Inn Golden Road, Co. Tipperary.

At approximately 3.25pm a car left the roadway and collided with a ditch.  The driver (sole occupant) a man aged in his 70’s was pronounced dead at the scene.

Forensic collision investigators are in attendance, the road is closed and traffic diversions are in place.
