Launch of "Supporting Safer Communities Campaign" from May 3rd to 7th 2012

The Garda Commissioner Martin Callinan launched An Garda Síochána’s ‘Supporting Safer Communities Campaign’ on the 2nd May at 11 am, it was followed by a photo call.

The main objective of this campaign is to engage with, and raise awareness within our communities of initiatives aimed at preventing crime, improving road safety and creating awareness of the services available to support victims of crime. 
 

The following organisations were also represented: Crime Victims Helpline, Community Alert and Neighbourhood Watch.
