Gardai in Dundalk are investigating a fatal road traffic collision that occured at Glenmore, Riverstown, Dundalk yesterday morning, Monday the 21st May 2012 at 9.50 a.m.
A two car collision occurred and one female driver aged 23 years was seriously injured and was air lifted by coast guard helicopter to Daisy Hill Hospital, Newry. She died later that evening. The driver of the other vehicle and a passenger
in the first car were removed to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda with minor injuries.
Forensic collision investigators were in attendance.
