Gardai at Carbury are investigating a fatal road traffic collision that occured on the M4 westbound at Kilmore at approximately 1.25 a.m this morning Friday 25th May, 2012.
A two car collision occurred and one male driver aged 31 years was pronounced dead at scene. He has been removed to Naas General Hospital. The driver of the other vehicle in the second car received minor injuries. No other persons in the vehicles.
Forensic collision investigators are at scene and the road is closed with diversions in place.
