Court appearances - Theft of Agricultural Machinery Co Roscommon

As part of an ongoing investigation into the theft of plant and agricultural machinery in the midlands a search and arrest operation took place in Co. Roscommon on the 10th May 2012.

During the operation Gardai recovered two tractor units (approx value €150,000).  Three men (one aged in his 40's and two in their 20's) were arrested and taken to Roscommon Garda Station where they were detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.

The men are due to appear before a special sitting of Roscommon District Court at 930pm this evening (11th May 2012) charged following last nights operation.
