A 44 year old man will appear in court this morning at 10.30a.m. at Criminal Court of Justice, charged in relation to the death of the 37 year old female on 19th May 2012.

Gardaí at Mountjoy investigating the death of a 37 year old female yesterday 19/5/12 (Press Release refers) have arrested a 44 year old man in connection with this investigation.
He was arrested this afternoon (20/5/12) in Dublin City and is currently detained at Mountjoy Garda Station under Section 4 Criminal Justice Act 1984.

Gardaí from Mountjoy Garda station attended a residence at Upper Sherrard Street, Dublin 1 this morning (Saturday 19th May) at approximately 11am after receiving reports concerning a female (aged 37) with injuries.
She was removed to the Mater Hospital were she subsequently died.
All circumstances surrounding her death are being investigated. A post-mortem is due to take place later on this afternoon. There are currently no plans to hold a press conference, and there have been no arrests.
