The Annual Garda Memorial Day for members of An Garda Síochána killed in the line of duty will take place at the Dubhlinn Gardens, Dublin Castle.
On Saturday, 19th May 2012 at 12 noon. This year's Memorial will consist of:
Liturgical Service
Wreath Laying Ceremony by the Commissioner, Minister for Justice and Equality, a member of the Survivors Association and a member of the Garda Retired Members Association.
Presentation of a Garda Remembrance Medal to the family of Garda Ciarán Jones R.I.P. by the Garda Commissioner.
The Garda Band accompanied by the Garda Male and Female Choirs will provide the Music for the ceremony.
