A male aged in his late 20's is expected to appear before a sitting of Dublin District Court (Criminal Courts of Justice 4) this morning (7/3/2012).
He is charged in relation to the above investigation.

A 29 year old man was arrested in the Dublin City Centre in the early hours of this morning, Sunday 8th January 2012, in relation to this investigation
He is detained at Crumlin Garda Station under section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.

Gardaí at Crumlin are investigating all the circumstances following the discovery of the body of a male (believed to be in his early 70s) at Ravensdale Close, Kimmage, Dublin 12.
The body was discovered at approximately 2pm (7th January 2012) when the emergency services were alerted to a fire at a property. The death is being treated as suspicious.
The scene has been sealed off for technical examination and the Office of the State Pathologist has been informed.
Gardaí are appealing for anyone who may have been in the area of Ravensdale Close in the hours leading up to the discovery of the body and who may have any information that will assist in the investigation to contact Crumlin on 01-6666600, the Garda Confidential Line 1800-666-111, or any Garda Station.
