Gardai investigating the death of a 22 year old male following an assault in Mullagh, Co Cavan on the 18/3/12 have made two arrests.
Two males in their 20’s were arrested this morning and are detained under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act at Bailieboro Garda Station.

Gardai in are investigating an alleged assault which occurred at a house in Rosehill, Mullagh, Co. Cavan on 18th March, 2012 at approximately 4.40a.m.
A 22 year old man was removed to Cavan General Hospital with injuries following an incident at the house, his condition deteriorated and was transferred to Beaumont Hospital.
He was pronounced dead in the early hours of this morning, the 21st March 2012. A post mortem examination is due to be carried out today by the State Pathologist and the Garda investigation is continuing.
